Now Owned by Rock You

[edit]

I’m a bit scared to edit the page but CEO Michael Sanchez sold CafeMom & all their associated websites to Rock You & now only runs CafeMedia aka AdThrive

Reads like an advertisement

[edit]

Request for article Cafemom to be re-evaluated. The article is no longer a blatant advertisement for CafeMom. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Silverring87 (talkcontribs) 16:28, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Look at an article on the site. Many of them aren't even real -- they're advertised, but when you click on the link to read the "full story," you'll get a paragraph of semi-related content (not the promised article) and pages and pages of advertising. What's described in this article is not what the site really is. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.225.71.167 (talk) 14:15, 30 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Apologises for not signing. Silverring87 (talk) 16:35, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This still reads like an advertisement. I know little about this website so I can't really help but this leads the reader to believe that the content is either copied from promotional materials or an unsubtle attempt to market via Wiki. Auronrenouille (talk) 04:25, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Seems this needs to be rewritten as it does read as an advertisement. ThurstonHowell3rd (talk) 00:41, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Clarity and commas

[edit]

Highlights from this article include: "Members of CafeMom users can meet other mothers online, such as JonJon." Who is JonJon? What? "Anyone can join CafeMom and become a member as long as they are not a dad." Interesting. I think it's just all men, by the way—just whichever mom wrote this section only sees the world in terms of moms and dads. I also suspect it was largely written by one person, as the same comma errors are present pretty much throughout the article. 75.64.211.150 (talk) 16:03, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
