Requested move

The result of the proposal was moved to Capture of East India Company ship Nautilus. Unless the ship were captured another time, including the Peacock in the title seems superfluous, though there's no prejudice against a new request to mention it. --BDD (talk) 18:33, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
Capture of HMS Nautilus → Capture of East India Company ship ''Nautilus'' – Nautilus was an East India Company vessel, not a ship of the Royal Navy. EIC vessels were quasi-military, as they occasionally had to deal with pirates or privateers, but not warships. The present title of the article is incorrect, verging on POV. --Relisted. - Comment this only details part of the action, it should indicate both actors. Capture of Nautilus by Peacock or Peacock's capture of Nautilus or somesuch -- 65.94.77.36 (talk) 05:02, 16 April 2014 (UTC)
- Comment: The use of quotation marks does not achieve the same thing in the title as it does in the text of an article. I suggest HLGallon renames the suggested new title to simply Capture of East India Company ship Nautilus. The italics can be achieved by using Template:DISPLAYTITLE. Thank you, some useful suggestions, but as nobody is questioning the basic premise for the move, I will proceed with it. HLGallon (talk) 20:48, 17 April 2014 (UTC)
- Your new name still only addresses half the situation, missing the Peacock. -- 65.94.77.36 (talk) 10:27, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.
- Relisting comment: More input would help. And per WP:RMCI, the nominator should await the closure of the discussion by an uninvolved editor.

- Hm. The question is to weigh precise vs. concice. Most wp:concise: Capture of Nautilus. Most wp:precise: Capture of East India Company ship Nautilus by USS Peacock. walk victor falk talk 08:25, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
