Erm, it's difficult for me to see how this article is distinct from car cigarette lighter... is this simply describing a different functional use for the same device? --Interiot 01:48, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's worth noting somewhere on this page that this plug is one of few devices now used almost exclusively for a purpose other than that for which it was originally intended. Even people I know who smoke in the car generally prefer a standard butane lighter to the car's electric one. (Possibly because they generally have something else plugged into it most of the time.) Is there a list of other such devices anywhere on Wikipedia? Might be an interesting article... --Lurlock 19:15, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
