Error?

[edit]

"Hormonal treatments such as birth control pills have also been linked to higher rates of cervical dysplasia" I believe this is a mistake, although I'm unable to find good sources. I believe there was confusion with endometrial hyperplasia which can result with some hormone treatments. BruceD270 04:22, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

the reason for this is there is an increased rate of unprotected sex in couples that use birth control therefore the rate of exposer to HPV is increased —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.108.185.4 (talk) 03:09, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Treatment w/ diet and avoid substances

[edit]

Needs citation, and would be better to make more specific, but is certainly verifiable. examples - avoidance of smoking/tobacco products, use of condoms (avoidance of semen on cervix), diet rich in fruits and vegetables. However there is considerable duplication within the HPV, Pap smear, cervical cancer set of articles. Might be better to make most of information on treatment, etc. by reference to other articles.
