I'll review this article shortly. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 05:50, 12 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your time. Please leave me a message when you do. Glimmer721 talk 22:31, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found:

  • "The novel was written for Balliett's classroom with thought-provoking "real-world" issues. Balliett strongly values children's ideas" rm strongly, and maybe tweak the first part, removing throught-provoking and just note it was meant to dealt with real-world issues.

  • To me, this article relies too heavily on quotes. They are fine when necessary, like in reception sections when you have to note what someone said, but the inspiration, genre, and themes section are guilty of this as well. If there's a way to turn what's being said into your own words, then that's usually preferable.
I've paraphrased quite a bit in the inspiration section and some in themes until the quotes are that are left are small and represent certain views, or to prevent close paraphrasing. I think the quote in the genre section should remain because the figurative language used is much better than paraphrasing. If there are any oher specific things, please let me know. Thanks, Glimmer721 talk 23:38, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article's good except for those two issues. I'll put the article on hold and will double-check the article when the issues are fixed. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:32, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This definitely looks better now. I found one further issue but I just went ahead and fixed it myself. As such, I'll pass this article as a GA. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 02:57, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
