Disambig?

This seems like it would be better as a disambig, or at least with more cohesive defintions. I'll see what I can do.

Cheating in online gaming

There's a lot of information that could be added to this article, especially surrounding online gaming.

Aimbots, radars, wallhacks, skinhacks, illegal scripts and settings, etc. have all been used in various games by players looking to gain an unfair advantage. One notable user of cheats was a former anticheat admin at CAL back somewhere around 2000-2002. He was banned from competition for two years over that incident. Unsourced material

I've unfortunately removed this material

I can find loads of surveys with citations on the topic, but I can't find this particular survey so I've taken it out and put other ones in. If anyone can find the citation, stick it back in the article. Mglovesfun 15:16, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

Splitting article

Relationship

In relationship cheating, there would be 3 people at least. The Cheater:Person cheating, Cheatee: the person being cheated on, and The person who the cheater is cheating with. Is there a name for this third person? I agree that these articles would be better served by being split into different articles. --User:Nightwindzero 15:01, 11 Dec 2006

Adulterer. If one looks at almost any of the major dictionaries, one will find the definition limited to sexual infidelity, and often to married couples. Language is only adjusting awkwardly to the plethora of non-marital sexual relationships, despite their antiquity. My sense is that this section could do with a lot more careful use of language and citation. If one is going to define words differently to the classic authorities on words, one should state why (as in, following what authority) and note the difference.Jamesofengland (talk) 00:20, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Patriots

The part about the New England Patriots "They were rightly fined for flagrantly violating the league rules regarding use of video to obtain an unfair advantage" was somewhat subjective I bolded the words that I find objectionable. Irishwarriorking 21:35, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

This is a pedia site, not a dictionary

I think that a picture of Marion Jones should appear at the top of this article, considering that her name is now synonymous with cheating. In fact, the term "jonesing" used to mean that a person was craving something, namely drugs. However, in athletic circles, the term now means "to take illegal performance-enhancing substances."
