Is [tʃikʃuˈluːb] the English or the Spanish pronunciation? (AFAIK there is no [ʃ] in Spanish.) Lfh (talk) 16:28, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

Wrong infomation[edit]

This article has the wrong information. Chicxulub town and its surrounding municipality has nothing to do with Chicxulub Port which is the area where the Chicxulub Crater is located. This last location (Chicxulub Port) belongs to the municipality of Progreso (Yucatán) and is a small fishermen port about 5 miles east of the port of Progreso, in the north coast of the Yucatán Peninsula. As you can see in the map shown in the article, the Chicxulub they refer to is not in the coast but inland. All in all, there are three different Chicxulub (the town, the port and the municipality) and WP should deal with the three of them separately (in the way you can find them in the spanish WP)--Yodigo (talk) 03:23, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
