Guessing?
Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica) as Kilian Qatar. The military leader seems to dislike the alien invasion and doesn't consider them in a high rate esteem like dictator Kane. It is possible Qatar will create a new division within the Brotherhood.
Could that last sentence be speculation??? Talk User:Fissionfox 07:40, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
- No, it's from a leaked Nod campaign briefing video. Mikael GRizzly 07:43, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Do not guess, look at the section above :) L.R.N 20:13, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Rewrite
I suggest that this article be rewritten so it no longer includes information on "expected" or "future" features. People who have the game should enter information from the manual and the game itself. Thanks.

Cutscene director
The article currently specifies that the cutscenes were directed by Richard Taylor, but then links to a rather lengthy disambiguation page. There is in fact a Richard Taylor (the one from Weta Workshop) listed there who's involved in the movies, but that's not the Richard Taylor we're talking about here. IMDb lists a veritable cornucopia of Richard Taylors, several of whom have directing experience. Anyway, my question is, which Richard Taylor are we talking about here, so we can adjust the article to link directly to an article (even if it hasn't been created yet) on the man instead of to the disambiguator. --DachannienTalkContrib 12:18, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- According to the credits it's "Richard Winn Taylor II", who was the visual effect supervisor on Tron - his IMDB page is here and his website is here. Neilka 00:39, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
"Scrin" Article
Does anyone else think there should be an article for Scrin? I mean, there are articles for Nod and GDI, and at this point, Scrin are about as important, and I don't think that a place in "miscellaneous factions" does them much justice. --CombatRock 12:35, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
- I totally agree. This should be made into a project or something. - Redmess 15:02, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- It's already there. Check Scrin. Mikael GRizzly 13:50, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Current Page Layout (2007-04-03)
I've been on this page practically everyday since the announcement of C&C3, and been following its progress avidly up until its launch. The unfortunate thing is, with me being in South Africa, it's going to take a couple of days before we will see the game.
So although I have no grounds on this request, I feel I should still ask it.
Can something please be done on the current layout of the page? As far as my knowledge stretches we are working on a RTS Game, not a theatrical play. Act I, ACT II, ACT III, etc, etc, is quite simply incorrect.
Xileras 09:06, 3 April 2007 (UTC) Xileras
Each campaign is divided into acts and the missions are grouped by act. The game uses the terms "ACT I" "ACT II" and so on. Rebochan 13:32, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
ACt 1, act 2 is correct, if you are yet to obtain the game you should not impose such things. 89.240.243.29 00:00, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
My sincere apologies. I have grown used to EA/Westwood giving the missions appriopriate names and therefore thought that C&C3 would be in the same boat. Once again my apologies

Screenshots
While there seems to be good text in this article, screenshots seem to be missing. None of the screenshots show the interface, tiberium harvesting or other identifying features of the game. --84.178.100.122 16:57, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Mutants
Even though they aren't as much of an importance to the game, they are still a fourth side and I see no reason for them to have been removed. --68.219.10.241 22:21, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Bugs
I do not think it is necessary to air personal grievances (some of which happen to be falsehoods) about the quantity of bugs in Command & Conquer 3. The majority of bugs listed in this section only occur to those with PIRATED copies of the game. While many owners have, prior to the 1.04 patch, experienced difficulty with the game's multiplayer functionality, the majority of issues listed in regards to multiplayer do not occur to most players. Aside from the currently dysfunctional stats system (which EA admits to be working on fixing at the moment), most of the multiplayer issues have successfully been dealt with.
I suggest a total rewrite or a removal of this section. It's fairly bad to single out Command & Conquer 3 in such poor light in a public encyclopedia, as such problems are in fact quite common to most newly released games. It is only under rare circumstances that such problems should actually be mentioned for being as big a deal as they are, as in the case of Sony Online Entertainment's MMORPG, Vanguard. SolInvictus 02:39, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
I agree as well. From the start I have had ZERO crashes/lock ups. The only minor problems I have had were shadows being Jaggy (May have to do with my EVGA 6800GT) and slow downs (again may have to do with my video card). Like everyone else, Multiplayer connection was a mess, but they are quickly fixing it. So far this game has been an enjoyable experience.
The section itself seems a bit sloppy. I'm going to remove it. We can put a new one with sources and what not later, but it doesn't seem necessary to the article as it doesn't sound encyclopediaish.--MercZ 04:37, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- I removed the section. I suggest a "Critisms" section regarding the major bugs. Not everyone will experience bugs or have any problems playing the game/multiplayer. I, for one, don't have any problems with the game and I'm sure the majority don't have a problem. I can't see the EA forums representing everyone playing the game.--Gamer007 04:40, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Interestingly enough as new user, I only found out why my post was being removed again and again. However This information is factual and correct, derived from geniune versions of command and conquer 3. For testing purposes though we used a genuine copy, and a pirated copy, and interestlingly enough the pirated version ran with less errors. That perhaps is due in part to the securom technology being circumvented. Irrespective of that fact, theres a few thousand people with genuine issues, that this information has been taken from.
as of 1.04, these errors still stand, therefore they are not biased, they are factual. Perhaps thousands of people are incorrect then?. I myself did not experience any errors at all till act IV.. Now im getting constant lockups despite the resinstallation of my hardware and the operating system. As the main culprit appears to be the game.dat in conjunction with the driver layout from the graphics cards.
- You're proposing using your own personal research as proof for this section. Sadly for you, original research is not allowed. And you're going to have to back up those "thousands of people" with more than just your personal perception of the EA forums. Rebochan 21:01, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
The EA forums really are no indication of anything in this game. How many other articles have sections on bugs? None that I know of. Geshpenst , 2 May 2007
Official forum.
Can anyone tell me why are they deleting ea official forum?. Is their anything wrong in adding the official forum?. Iam not adding a spam link but a official tiberium wars ea forum. --SkyWalker 06:27, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Discussion forums are point 11 on "things to avoid" per WP:EL. Seeing as it's an official link it's probably okay though. Chris Cunningham 14:21, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- The official EA forum is a very good idea to link to considering the HUGE number of bugs rendering the game unplayable to thousands of owners. Many people could benefit from the discoveries of other players posted in the tech support forum there.
Plotline section
I've removed this. Wikipedia is not a place to go transcribing storylines. I've half a mind to delete the copyright-infringing posting of all the game dialogue in previous talk as well. Chris Cunningham 13:47, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- And what is now the plot? I think there should be a plot for the game so that readers know what is the game plot-line,what are its actions.Every game has a plot description so before deleting a section prepare another or deliver another one so there won't be a leak in the article with a missing part. 82.114.81.146 18:50, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- i have played are the campaigns and all are canonical! -- yrkl0 april, 12 of 2007
- Yes, but that's the place for a C&C fansite or wiki... we don't need a massive plot runthrough. A synopsis would be more fitting.--MercZ 16:28, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- A brief describe of the GDI, Nod and Scrin's plotline would be suitable... That day, I saw all the "Plotline" all over the article, I felt headache...... (KyoriAsh 06:00, 14 April 2007 (UTC))
- Why? Why oh why do people feel that articles must contain spoilers? What is gained by having the article spoil the plot for people? Chris Cunningham 08:19, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe not all games have spoilers but this is long awaited sequel so what happens next is always interesting. Also you may just describe a part not the whole game so there still won't be everything revealed in the plot-line.This game needs a plot-line. 82.114.81.146 11:48, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- It's conceivable that some information could be added back, but the previous narrative was egrecious. If someone else feels like trying to give a plot overview without, novelising the game, be my guest. Chris Cunningham 13:43, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- OK, I just say "BRIEF DESCRIPTION"? If anybody wants to add the plotline, just "BRIEFLY EXPLAIN", not throwing the "NOVEL TYPE" story into it. If still anyone insists "NOVEL TYPE" then I suggest for new article called "Plotline of Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars"... Good idea, anyone? (KyoriAsh 09:25, 17 April 2007 (UTC))
- No way, a new article just for the plot line of a (notable but not historically important) computer game? Someone just write a brief history. I would write it, but I have not played the game and am afraid I'd get some of the details wrong. --RazorICE 14:09, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- There's not really much to it; it's a computer game. There are three sides, they fight each other over the globe, there are winners, losers and a few revelations. Any further elaboration would necessarily involve spoilers and (like the section some anon keeps trying to add back just now) would probably be mind-numbingly tedious. Chris Cunningham 14:13, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- "There's not really much to it; it's a computer game. "
- Not true. The same argument can be posted for films and books. There is as much to it as to a film or book. Mikael GRizzly 14:59, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- The thing is, the plot line that is being added is WAY too long, especially for a video game which can pretty much be summarised like Chris did above. --RazorICE 15:01, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- I don't argue that, I oppose the notion that "It's a computer game so it's shallow". A short summary is needed though, that's true. I suggest just briefly running through the events, putting them in order and posting. A link to the entire plot summary can be posted in the links section (eg: http://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Third_Tiberium_War ) Mikael GRizzly 15:03, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
- I played the game through all the way and the stories connect. You can check it here and compare it to article on this page for accuracy. I played it while writing the article --Cs california 22:05, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
Worldbuilder
Hey guys, the worldbuilder has just been released. Can we update the article on this soon? Gunman47 14:04, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
PC Gamer Review
It's on the front of the box. Should it be included in the list? I know we don't want it to be long, it's just that it was on the front of the box, and I think it should at leat be included. I'd do it, but I don't know how to cite it properly. --MercZ 23:14, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
Trivia Section- Unit remains
This specific section I need to cite in some way. I have pictures of the destroyed titans and mammoth mk IIs... I removed the reference about the humvees being a call back to generals since GDI had those in Tiberian Dawn.--68.95.128.204 23:24, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
whereabouts did you find them? out of curiosity.
GreenHorn, April 25 2007, 9:30 AM
- The Mammoth MK II wreckage can be found on one of the multiplayer/skirmish maps. I think it was Rocktagon. I recall there maybe a Titan on there too. --Gamer007 07:45, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
The first comment was done by me, forgot to sign in. If you want to see a picture of the wrecks, the titan and mammoth mk II are POTDs at commandandconquer.filefront.com in their archive.--MercZ 16:17, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Screenshot
Well I can just say that some peaple here are in love with that screenshot showing how a civilian building collapses and the two mammoth tanks. It should be changed to a war or a battle picture.82.114.68.29 18:45, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Redo article?
80% of the article has not been changed since the game was released, we need to redo, or at least partially redo this article so it is up to date with the game.
Feel free to make some edits --MercZ 16:09, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
Well said MercZ
Not too much needs to be changed. But the scrin are confiremed as SCRIN and the scrin ship that the IGN article says about Alien visitors and vaiting for 1000 years is untrue and does not have to do with the mean story so its just a somebodies rumor and we are referring it as true.So i will delete it. 82.114.81.146 19:46, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Xbox 360
there should be a page or section the describes the xbox 360 version
