Talk:Connor wilkinson
To Wikipedia,
I do not believe this page is vandalism. I have read your 'Criteria for Speedy Deletion', and after evaluating the General Rules, I do not decree this page as either vandalism or a hoax. I am a relatively new user to making Wikipedia pages, and if I have indeed broken some rule of writing or something of a similar sort, I apologise and ask for you to show me so I can rectify it. The main reason there are not many references on this page is that I am Connor's friend, and therefore, as I cannot use that as a viable reference, I can only use his Facebook page as a reference point. If there are any more reference's I have used, I am unaware of them. As I have stated quite clearly in this statement, I do not believe this page should be deleted.

I am sorry, but I cannot see how the article is a conflict of interest. Yes, I have a close personal tie with the subject the page is based on, but, whilst editing the page, I have tried to the best of my ability to keep a neutral and unbiased attitude. I am currently in talks with Connor on how to edit the page. I am still editing, so please refrain from deleting the page just yet, as to do so would not be to give me ample time to rectify my mistake.

- I have redirected this article to the particular section on your friend's part. We have rules about notability, especially biographies. You must have reliable, third party sources, which your experience and Facebook are not. You are correct that this is not a hoax, but you do have a COI if your friend is talking to you about making this page. --Fiftytwo thirty (talk) 19:14, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
