Fungi

I removed this entire section because the reference is thirty years old ! There is now (2023) is no doubt whatsoever that fungi and animals are a distinct clade, the Opisthokont. That Wikipedia article has 19 references, 6 of which are less than 10 years old. Nick Beeson (talk) 13:17, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
