Only surgeons revert their title, and usually do this well before they reach consultant status. --John24601 07:08, 8 June 2007 (UTC) That is simply not true. (talk) 10:31, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Consultant vs attending[edit]

I am not too familiar with the term "consultant," but I know that in addition to the UK, the term is sometimes used in the US. Does anyone know of any place other than Mayo Clinic that uses the term "consultant" rather than "attending"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 23:50, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

very confusing[edit]

As in the business sector a consultant usually doesn't do anything but observing and giving advice. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 07:50, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

clinical fellows[edit]

There needs to be a hyperlink from "clinical fellows" to a relevant page. (talk) 16:56, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
