Talk:Convoy HX 106
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I could use a bit of clarification. Was this Convoy a British convoy, an American convoy, or an Allied Convoy? To simply refer to it as a "Convoy" in that very multinational war is insufficient. -- MiguelMunoz 00:29, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- In answer to the question, it was mostly british, but allied ships would be present too.
- Are you suggesting a change to the page name? In that case, as it was mostly the British, and later the Allies, who ran convoys, and defended most of the convoys in battles, the title "Convoy" is sufficient; anybody else's can be clarified. (much as "La Paz" refers to the city in Bolivia, whilst the one in Indiana is labelled as such). Xyl 54 (talk) 10:32, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
