Comment from a resident in Samoa
This article appears to be factual and accurate. There is a huge literature about Samoan culture with Margaret Mead's work being the most famous. However, this article describes day-to-day life in Samoa as you would find it in any village. It would be good to have some photographs and I will see what I can do about that.
The Samoan culture is much more complex than is described here but maybe there is a better place for this.
There does not seem to be a group project for Samoa. Is there one?

Jimmy Snuka of Samoan heritage?
At the end of the sports section Snuka was listed as one of the Samoan professional wrestlers. However he has always been noted as being of Fijian background, not Samoan. His own wikipedia page states Fijian as well. So I removed him from the spots section here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.2.142.13 (talk) 10:42, 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Umu contradiction
The umu is described in the introduction as "underground" but elsewhere as "above ground". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:145:501:1A84:2DA2:F61E:8ED5:A07C (talk) 03:11, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
