- Over 10 years later, now that study is shown that not accepted widely. Most of recent papers about placodonts refers criticization of his study. Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 06:49, 22 March 2022 (UTC)
C.G. Diedrich
[edit]This article relies too much on Diedrich's work. As noted in the article, Diedrich's claims are rather idiosyncratic in the study of placodonts and are not accepted by most researchers. I think it is needed to rely on more credible studies, such as the original description of species. Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 08:22, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
