Is there any reason to believe that Antonin Dolohov's Curse was dark magic? In the Ministry of Magic (last section of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix), death eaters use many curses that are perfectly legitimate. Why should it be assumed that Dolohov used black magic in that curse?

resurrection

[edit]

shouldnt this be added in the dark art's section?

Chapter 32: Flesh, Blood, and Bone. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire(the part where Voldemort gets resurrected from the potion-type thing)

"Bone of the father, unknowingly taken, flesh from the servant, willingly given, blood of the enemy, forcibly taken, you will resurrect your foe."

more dark creatures

[edit]

arent there more dark creatures shouldn't peeves be put as a dark creature since as rowling states "he's a entity of pure chaos"

Shrunken Heads?

[edit]

I'm going to remove the shrunken heads because a) we don't know if they are dark and (more importantly) b) they are in the knight bus in the 4th movie and i know that the movies aren't considered canon but this could still cause confusion because the knight bus doesn't have anything to do with the dark arts does it? If anyone can find a good reference for them being dark objects then please put it back in.
