BAC spam
[edit]This article appears to have been spammed by the Bohica Associates Corporation.
Indeed. From the description of the BACEngine, it isn't even a database engine but an XMLised interface to any random SQL server. Even if it was a database engine, the place to describe its internal workings is not in the middle of a paragraph about database engines in general, but on its own page.
Definition
[edit]FYI, it's common in the industry for database engine to be used interchangeably with database server (especially for folks who have worked with/for IBM - see IBM DB2 for many examples). I think it's used more often that way than as a synonym for storage engine (as suggested here). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.155.161.170 (talk) 02:33, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
