Innaccuracy: Ershin ≠ Deis
[edit]The BoF4 section poses that Ershin and Deis are the same entity. This is false. Deis was summoned by the Fou Empire in an imperfect ritual, which resulted in only summoning her spirit, but not her body. Because of this, they affixed her soul to an armor. Eventually, however, Deis's strong spirit became so entwined with the armor that the armor gained a spirit of its own and also autonomy. The armor has its own personality and can directly communicate with Deis and Deis has little or no control over the armor. The armor's personality, however, is childish and imperfect. Being the only one who can communicate with Deis directly, the armor appears to have a split personality. The armor refers to Deis as "Ershin", which is revealed later in the game to mean "Master" in the armor's native language. (Ershin's Japanese name is マスター which is just a transliteration "master", literally read as "masutaa"—see Transcribing English to Japanese.) To simplify matters, the party refers to the armor as Ershin and Deis as Deis after finding this out. However, Ershin and Deis are distinct entities. I'm just not sure how to rewrite that whole big section. ~ Oni Lukos ct 21:42, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed, I've heavily altered the BoFIV section. 07:06, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
