Article review

I think few more references may be needed, but overall it is a very well written article! Beatrice Branchini (talk) 12:53, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Beatrice,
Thank you for your review. Currently, the complete definition of DPV is provided in the Internet Engineering Task Force document, which is the only official source for its description. :) Wikisosh (talk) 13:48, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This article provides a comprehensive introduction to Delegated Path Validation (DPV), detailing its concept, implementation specifics, and security considerations. Strengths: Clearly introduces the concept of DPV and its relevance to PKI. Suggestions: Ensure subject-verb agreement and clarify sentences for better readability. Example: "DPV aims to enhance the efficiency of certification path validation by leveraging a dedicated server to provide validation results to the client." --YX.AN-CINA (talk) 13:01, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article is interesting and well-written. These are the only comments I have and the changes I have made:

  • In the introduction, I would add some infobox about the protocol, similar to other Wikipedia articles about other protocols.
  • I've added some wikilinks to clarify the topic better.
  • I've repeated some references in the same paragraph to clarify things.
  • The requirements section can increase readability with a bullet list.

Hi Gianaccordi,
Thank you for your comments and changes. Currently, DPV is more of an abstract concept than a real, established protocol with an inventor, creation date, and other similar information that would go in an info box. For this reason, I have chosen not to add one at this time. :D Wikisosh (talk) 13:51, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
