Death Rate Questions

Religion Discrepancy

This article says that 24% of Jamaicans are Church of God (Cleveland, TN). The main Jamaica article says, in its Religion section, that 24% of Jamaicans are Church of God of Prophecy. I don't know which is correct, but the discrepancy should be remedied by someone who does know.

"Ethnicity" Discrepancy in Introduction

Former: "This article is about the demographic features of the population of Jamaica, including population density, ethnicity, education level, health of the populace, economic status, religious affiliations and other aspects of the population".

"Ethnicity" was omitted from the introduction, since it was not included in the main body. Although it would be great to have this information and it should be present here, until someone revises that area of the body, the introduction should not be misleading (someone with the verifiable stats on Jamaica's ethnic demographics, please revise!!). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.72.158.124 (talk) 20:32, 5 January 2013 (UTC)

This page is written in Jamaican English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, travelled, centre, analyse, defence) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.
