Can any body tell what was doing Dr. Faust as Demonlogist?

Faust studied demons, therefore he is a demonologist, albeit probably a fictional one (well, there probably was a historical one, but he was probably an alchemist who was only rumored to sell his soul). Ian.thomson (talk) 14:54, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling of demonologist[edit]

I'm an RPG novice. Is "demonlogist" a special spelling? Or is that just a typo? It's spelled that way multiple times in this article.68.58.134.139 (talk) 00:17, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's because the article was poorly written, not because that's how demonologist is spelt. Ian.thomson (talk) 14:55, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Redirecting to Demonology[edit]

Biologist would redirect to biology, scientologist would redirect to scientology, etc. Feel free to start a "Demonology in fiction" section in the demonology article, but it would be a better idea to start fresh, since this article about made me go hit something (nowhere except here has Rostrem been called a demonologist, nowhere except here has a demon slayer been confused with a demonologist). That's because most of the information is not particularly noteworthy, and some of the info is outright wrong. It also doesn't follow that demonologist gets an article separate from demonology, while all other -ologists either do not have an article or they redirect to the -ology article. Wikipedia isn't a repository of useless and partly incorrect info. Ian.thomson (talk) 03:16, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
