- In the infobox, the website looks like it's in Danish. Is there supposed to be a separate link for the English website?
- You usually put the flag-bearer(s) in the infobox, right?
- Carlsen finished 53rd in the 30 kilometers race, and 57th in the 15 kilometers event. ==> Carlsen placed outside of the top 50 in both of his events. (it's too specific, as is)

Cross-country skiing
- Instead of the current structure --- to create a better introduction --- I would suggest adding as the second sentence of the paragraph that: Carlsen competed in two races, both of which were won by Eero Mäntyranta of Finland.
- You can then abbreviate Eero Mäntyranta as Mäntyranta (or the winner, or the winning time, etc.) later in the paragraph.
- Carlsen ~~finished~~ completed the race in 1 hour and 20.7 seconds (to avoid re-use of finish/finishers/etc.)

- I would close the paragraph with a reference to this being one of Denmark's all-time best individual performances, with something like: "Nonetheless, this was Denmark's best performance in an individual event at the Winter Olympics until figure skater Michael Tyllesen also finished in ninth place at the 1998 Games."
