Pictures

[edit]

Hey guys! I am really liking the pictures that are being put up! Is there any way we can make the world fluoridation picture any bigger? --A.M.Deckert (talk) 00:47, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I like the idea of putting the map of the world showing all the places that receives fluoridated water--RayOH (talk) 01:02, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hey guys, I've adjusted the image to a more simple size, let me know your thoughts, I'm not too sure if it should be any smaller. Thank-you for your recommendations. MAbdelkdous (talk) 01:45, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Looks really good! Much easier to read! --A.M.Deckert (talk) 01:51, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, we'll probably have to rearrange positioning of images once we begin to edit a bit further --Mellere (talk) 03:01, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Referencing

[edit]

I have just noticed the referencing at the end of the page is not consistent, there is a mixture of Vancouver and APA. We might have to go through and change to the same --Mellere (talk) 03:05, 3 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Good pick up! I'll have a read through, maybe this is something we can address at the next meeting. --A.M.Deckert (talk) 06:18, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I have just noticed this as well, maybe we can have a session where we work on clearing the whole page up including the references and make everything succinctMAbdelkdous (talk) 06:19, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, I also had some of my work taken down so I was thinking maybe we could discuss this as well? It might just need some rewording and better referencing, hopefully we can find a way to make it work. --06:26, 5 May 2017 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by A.M.Deckert (talkcontribs)
I am having trouble uploading my information as I keep being told I am not referencing it correctly and would really like it if we can sort it out at our next meeting. I won't try and put it up again as it keeps being deleted. --A.M.Deckert (talk) 02:34, 7 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I've attempted to edit my work and address the referencing, lets hope it worked! ---A.M.Deckert (talk) 23:42, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Academic Resources

[edit]

If anyone comes across some good academic resources related to dental public health, please add to this section. Probably better to stick with journals --Mellere (talk) 07:52, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I removed the section, I don't think it's relevent --Mellere (talk) 06:11, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Formatting

[edit]

I have rearranged a few of the headings to try and make it flow better, let me know what you think --Mellere (talk) 06:09, 10 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I just read over the page and it looks great! I think it was a good idea to rearrange some of the headings to make it flow better. Let me know if there is anything specific you'd like me to do. --A.M.Deckert (talk) 08:32, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Concerns about the page

[edit]

I have some concerns about this page. I've read through the whole thing now, removed and reworked a little bit of it, and I must say that it reads like multiple student papers put together. I'll do some more cleanup and then add some refs. Thank you. ApproximateLand (talk) 21:24, 14 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah well that's kinda what happened lol. Thanks for the work you've done so far and any further edits ... I'm basically watching this article for vandalism and stopped checking the text after the student editors came through. Graham87 04:37, 15 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
