I dont know that the hell did the guy below me wrote. To me the explaination of the word 'digital convergence' doesn't sound right. It's more like hybridization of digital gadgets like PMP which stands for portable media player. PMP has versatile functions like playing movie clips and audio files like mp3, radio, text viewer, and even internet web-surffing. The most well known one is 43series of digital cube from South Korea. There is another example like cell phones which have a fucntion of camera or camcoder.

"Digital convergence" is was introduced by Nicholas Negroponte in his book Being Digital. This article does not define it properly. ---- CharlesGillingham (talk) 02:28, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am looking to help improve this page by digging up some citations for the information that is already present and possibly adding some sections as to how Digital Convergence is affecting different industries instead of just focusing on home entertainment type examples that are currently listed. Does anyone have any suggestions or idea as to how to improve this page? ---- baumanmm (talk) 11:37, 24 April 2012
