Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is a way by which website visibility is increased. Multiple channels are used in Digital Marketing.

  • SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
  • SMO (Social Media Optimization)
  • SEM (Search Engine Marketing)
  • SMM (Social media Marketing)
  • Email Marketing
  • Affiliate Marketing

These given channels are used in Digital marketing.

If a person is extremely talented and he makes a any product ,then there is no benefit of his talent if he don't knows how to sell that particular product. Means the skills of marketing of a product are also important as important as the skills of making a product. so, for sake of marketing digital marketing can be a good option, because nearly most of the world is a new technological based world and as a benefit of it we can take advantages of it by making the use of digital marketing. And it also saves our much more time, its an another benefit of digital marketing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hritik 7447 (talkcontribs) 03:49, 10 August 2019 (UTC)

Citations

Citation 2 is not referenced correctly since it results in a broken link (http://eds.b.ebscohost.com/eds/pdfviewer/pdfviewer?sid=484a9795-b6bb-4ed8-a329-e4c2c29f7707%2540sessionmgr114&vid=1&hid=103). Similarly Citation 18 also from ebsco results in a broken link.

Aside from two references to citations, rest of the Advantages and limitations section (consisting of 11 prographs) is not cited. For example, reference to Rindfleisch, 2016 is made without a reference. The tone of the last couple paragraphs and especially the last sentence (And hence the reflection of digital marketing into real sales volume is skeptical.[citation needed]) also seems partial and is lacking a reference.

The Digital Marketing Measurement Model - DMMM - The model focuses on 3 key areas - Acquistion, Beaviour and Outcomes. Also, goals need to be identified. These goals are SMART goals:- Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely.

Then the Key Performance Indicators - these are metrics that help you understand how you are doing against your objectives.

Then Targets are predetermined indicators of success or failure.

Finally, segments that identify failure and success. BusinessGladiator (talk) 21:13, 24 January 2019 (UTC)

Article needs major work

I see that people have indicated some major problems with this article. I agree: major POV problems. Article headings like "effective" and "ineffective" are POV-pushing terms and cannot be neutral. We need some major rework - anyone have feedback before I start nuking some overly promotional content? Skirts89 (talk) 16:06, 29 January 2019 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. These references do not appear to be on the current version of the page. Either they have already been removed (which doesn't appear to have happened since this request was added) or the links provided here are not correct. Since these are session links, the latter is probably true. Please provide the actual body text you think these citations reference. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 21:55, 25 November 2019 (UTC)

I just want to remove some dead internal & external links and add some fresh content like the definition of digital marketing. SomyasharmaJi (talk) 09:02, 6 December 2019 (UTC)

Not done: this is not the right page to request additional user rights. You may reopen this request with the specific changes to be made and reliable sources to support them, and someone will add them for you if they are considered improvements, or if you have an account, you can wait until you are autoconfirmed and edit the page yourself.
