Talk:Disseminated Lyme Borreliosis

Please do not redirect this page to Lyme Disease or Chronic Lyme Disease. The evidence that is presented is valid research to prove Persistence of infection is valid. The debate among scientists is whether treatment can remove persistence of infection. Lyme Disease infection moving past an acute phase which is not treated becomes a persistent infection. If treatement is not effective (for many reasons) this will continue to persist. Sharky905 (talk) 18:22, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request to delete or redirect to existing Lyme disease article

[edit]

Disseminated infection is already discussed in Lyme disease. Thus, this entry should be deleted or redirected to Lyme disease. As written in various revisions, this article promotes WP:FRINGE by using fringe individuals such as Stricker (who the NIH found guilty of scientific misconduct), Maloney (a retired family medicine practitioner without recognized credentials in infectious diseases who is associated with the pressure group ILADS), Christian Perrone (a fringe scientist in France), and Lorraine Johnson (a lawyer). Chronic Lyme disease after suitable treatment is not recognized by medical science. ScienceFlyer (talk) 00:56, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I already tried redirecting this and was reverting. If you want to AfD this, I would support that. Natureium (talk) 01:04, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have very confused - based on the links provided (and the fact this is a WHO identified disease) this is not fringe nor vandalism. Admin - I recommend you identify who is continuing to not allow these pages to be updated with new lyme recognised information and lock their account. Please read the contents of the medical journal information. Sharky905 (talk) 12:43, 17 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
