  • Grabbing this for a review. Aoba47 (talk) 17:35, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Lead and infobox
  • This may be more of a personal preference, but I would change "recording artist" to "singer" as the current wording seems a little odd to me.
  • I would paraphrase "shouted gang".
  • For the portion about the song's critical reception, I am not sure if the publications needed to named in the lead. I would do a more traditional portion about whether or not the song received positive or negative praise, and what parts were highlighted in the critical commentary.
  • I would get rid of the coma after "residency show".
Background and release
  • I would change "commercial lackluster" to "lackluster commercial performance".
  • In this part "Later, in September 2014", I would remove "Later" as it does not seem necessary.
  • I do not think that Breathe Heavy is a reliable source. Also, the quote from the site seems rather long and unnecessary anyway.
  • I am not sure if the quote box is necessary, especially since it does not appear directly tied to this song.
  • A majority of the information does not seem appropriate for this article. The entire first paragraph is more appropriate for the article on the album rather than the song as none of the information is tied to the song. Also, I have some issues with the beginning of the second paragraph as it seems rather disconnected from the subject matter (and the obvious issue with Breathe Heavy as a reliable source or not).
Composition
  • For the quote box, identify who is speaking and in what context (i.e. the website/publication).
  • I would retitle the section to "Composition and lyrics" as it covers both.
  • Remove the (3:22) as there is no reason to have that there.
  • I would cut down on the Bustle quote and paraphrase where necessary. There is no reason to use such a long quote.
Critical reception
  • I would include more structure for this section as it seems rather all of the place. There does not seem to be an sort of narrative here, and it seems more like a random listing of various critics and their opinions. I would look at this resource Wikipedia:Copyediting reception sections to see what I mean, specifically these parts: "Organize the section by thematic element" and "Signpost each paragraph with a topic statement". I will hold off on reviewing this section further until it is organized and structured better.
Commercial performance
  • I would move up the "Chart performance" section to make a section with this title right about the "Critical reception" section.
Live performances
  • For this part (Later, on September 1, 2016, a performance of the song), I would clarify that you mean this particular song as you have named two songs in the previous section.
  • For this part ( During the performance, she used "an outfit similar to her risqué costume from 2016's VMAs, while her backup dancers stood out in brightly-colored tank tops and shorts,"), I think that the quote can be paraphrased.
  • This (Also performed it at Apple Music Festival which was held in United Kingdom.) is an incomplete sentence.
Accolades
  • Please delete this section and combine it with the "Critical reception" section as this song has not received enough awards to warrant a separate section. I would also get rid of the table and convert that information into prose.
References
  • Reference 36 is a bare link that needs to be fully filled out.
Verdict
  • I am sorry, but I am going to fail this as I think that this article requires further work to be on the level of a GA. There are certain portions that could be edited down as it is not directly relevant to the song and the "Critical reception" section needs to be overhauled to read more like a cohesive narrative. I am also not a fan of the use of rather long quotes all over this. Good luck with the revisions to this, and I apologize for the outcome. Have a wonderful rest of your day or night. 02:23, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
