The Praxis Social Structure section:
[edit]This Paragraph "Another clause to the Praxis ensured a distinct social structure. The Shaa were below the Praxis, the Convocation were below the Shaa, the rest of the Peer society were below the Convocation, and had internal structure therein with individual clans being superior or otherwise inferior to each other, and then there were the Commoners, in essence the poor people. In a similar divide as seen here on earth, ten percent of the empires population (predominantly the Peerage) held ninety percent of it's wealth, and they weren't afraid to display it either."
Removed this clause: "and had internal structure therein with individual clans being superior or otherwise inferior to each other," As under the Praxis all peers are equal (hence the term peer) it is only in the peers own views that this internal clan structure exists. - AR
True, I had also mentioned that later in the section about the Peers so thanks forclearing that up.--Aurons Ghost 11:59, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:The Conventions of War.jpg
[edit]Image:The Conventions of War.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Information that should be noted?
[edit]Should it be noted that Mr. Williams did not intend for Conventions of War to be the last title in the series (he actually had a 9-12 book arc planned) but was unable to continue it as his publisher(s) lost interest in the project? I have email correspondence with the author to confirm this info if that's needed. Also: it should be noted that a short novella taking place several years after Conventions of War titled Investments was published in the Between Worlds anthology some years back. - I also have an email correspondence with he author where he expresses his interest in continuing the series but is unable to because the publisher does not wish to continue the series and will not sell the rights to the series back to the author. Would it be worthwhile to publish that correspondence here? 2600:100D:B02F:C668:FCA8:1129:39EF:A20A (talk) 21:14, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
