Proposed merge with Dual photography[edit]

Page exists and in this page there is no space between Dual and Photography Bilingual2000 (talk) 13:49, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. Two articles on one topic is not a good idea.TheLongTone (talk) 15:01, 21 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe the content of the 'Dual Photography' could be cited in the 'Dualphotography' article, and linked to a 'Helmholtz Photography' or 'Interchange Photography' article as it is actually what it is (a mathematical method to interchange cameras using Helmholtz reciprocity? They shouldn't be merged, in any case, since they are different topics. The Dual photography isn't very clear, but external article it links to [1] describes it better. Dualphotography on the other hand is just making a montage from a couple of simultaneous photos with different cameras. ghouston (talk) 05:18, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

rename original 'Dual photography' article?[edit]

It would make sense to rename the original 'Dual Photography' to 'Dual Photography (mathematical method)' or something in that vein as it doesn't really relate to dualphotography as usually understood beyond computer programmers or image scientists. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.207.137.246 (talk) 20:30, 11 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Probably one or both should be renamed to distinguish them better. I added header notes to each. I suggest closing the merge request in the meantime. ghouston (talk) 02:40, 20 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
