Irish Creation[edit]

  • Can whoever is putting the information about the 941 Irish creation please provide a source for their information. I have typed on a search engine, and the '37th Earl of Dublin' is no where to be found. --Berks105 10:08, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's nonsense. john k 12:03, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No it is most certainly not, the Earldom was created in Irish law (the country of origin) and exists today as a extant earldom under UK Law having been acknwoledged by William the Third, so stop talking nonsense yourself. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lord Dublin (talkcontribs) 21:27, August 20, 2007 (UTC).

It still seems to be being added.[1] "Lord Dublin" points to [2], which hardly contains a long line of earls - I am guessing it is based on some coincidence of name with Blákári Guðrøðsson, who was one of many Norse Kings of Dublin. --Rumping (talk) 08:23, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
