Ding Dung

[edit]

Quite a few options for earth plaster, so when does it become officially "non earth" plaster? Yes, horse manure is great to use for plastering, very workable and the stench isn't bad, though I wonder if anyone has done a dung comparison of types comparing the longevity of each. In Pakistan, Yak dung is often collected as a valuable resource (people follow yaks around in the Himalayas for every deposit) which they use to plaster houses. An old but time worn technology. Think we'll see a renaissance anytime in the states? ha
