Why no section on the EU preventing Russian companies and favouring EU and US companies?
The west is the worste case of economic nationalism.

Criticism section
The scientific explanation about atoms and all that, seems a bit over the top if you ask me... We get the point accross with just the car exemple. Why make it more complicated then it should be. We are not writing a scientific paper here. HichamVanborm 16:03, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

- Thing is, I came here through some random path. I am not a economist really, so do not feel like I could judge the content. I just come aboard here on Wikipedia and my wiki-editing skills sofar are a bit minimal. If I see soemthing I can make better, i sure will try.HichamVanborm 17:23, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- The issue doesn't have to be about what you know now but can be about what do you want to learn. I personally prefer to add content by learning new things, using wikipedia to help me learn, and adding sourced content to stuff when what I learned is missing. When I come back months later, others have added even more so I learn then even more about something I'm interested in learning about. WAS 4.250 03:59, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
I expanded and renamed the recent economic nationalism section to try and give an overview of the diverse reasons given for economic nationalism. Crwpulsar 16:20, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
From Criticsim section: "However, in most cases where no cartel is formed, the market forces will create competition for local products, and cause prices to drop."
This seems to suggest that tariffs usually drive prices down in the long run; an assertion that it would be generous to call dubious. (TariqAlSuave 03:44, 13 August 2007 (UTC))
