Agriculture, potash not mentioned?
[edit]It seems like agriculture was seen as the dominant industry of Mandatory Palestine, particularly citrus, even though Palestine had to import about half of it's grain supply, and there being a devastating drought for half of the 1930s that devastated the tenent/sharecropper farmers. Almost the entire rural economy was agriculture. Also the Potash industry was one of the more significant industries other than the government concession businesses the government gave to Jewish groups. The Potash industry was also significant in, both, presumably, the notable theft, as well as how it was resistant to segregation, other, I suppose, than class segregation. Of course it seems like it would be important to include things like the almost ubiquitous segregation of businesses in Palestine that gradually emerged over time which may persist even to this day. And of course the distribution of important, lucrative government concessions, how that effected the native population, what parts of the country that did and didn't benefit, what parts of the population that did and didn't benefit.Fanccr (talk) 03:01, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
