I was going to translate it from French to English, but then I noticed that almost the exact same thing was in the Ancient Clothing Section. Unless someone else wants to continue translating it or has something to add.Bob bobato (talk) 13:27, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article is absolutely useless without any examples of pctures... i suggest someone should take pity on it and put a reasonable picture. so many people look up to wikipedia for research and I feel this article has disapointed many people in the past. *Marie* (talk) 17:39, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you can take any kind of picture about this subject, go ahead and try doing it your self, it´s easy (I have already tried) and if you want, I can help you. - Damërung ...ÏìíÏ..._Ξ_ . --  05:27, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

I agree that the coverage in Clothing in the ancient world is very good, but we should have a separate article on Egyptian clothing - if only to encourage people to make it better! I added one image. I am going to tag this and hope that will encourage others to participate.

This aricle could use these improvements:

  • Add references and inline citations
  • Improve organization
  • Expand on distinction of linen for upper classes and wool for immigrants
  • Include something on weaving techniques
