The number one position of El (god) among the kingdom of Israel is a cheeky omission that will amuse rather than misdirect Wikipedia's readers. At El we read

  1. El (god), a Semitic word for 'god' and the word for God in the Tanakh.
  2. El (Canaanite god), a particular northwest Semitic father god who was head of many pantheons and by some identified with God in the Tanakh.
