Notability[edit]

I have removed the template proposing deletion because the articles cited each go to the notability of the song. They show that it was considered a song highly representative of the group's political activism, and one of the more notable songs of their ongoing repertoire in the two decades following its composition. It's included in a major compilation of their key works, Songs of Conscience and Concern. Just because it wasn't a major pop hit doesn't make it non-notable, and the references all go to demonstrate that.Lawikitejana (talk) 05:06, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
