quota amount
[edit]article says An admissible quota is a quota that is guaranteed to apportion only as many seats as are available in the legislature. Such a quota can be any number between: but shows quota being equal to or larger than votes/seats plus 1.
if quota can be same as votes/seats plus 1, it can in fact elect more than there are open seats.
to adhere to its own rule, article needs to show quota must be larger than votes/seats plus 1, and no less than votes/seats, or only very slightly less than votes/seats.
example, if 3 seats to fill and 12 votes cast votes divided by seat minus 1 (2) would elect 6 so there is problem with using seats minus 1 as divisor to compose quota. 2604:3D09:8880:11E0:643E:FDBB:7DB3:121F (talk) 21:11, 26 July 2024 (UTC)
- I completely agree and second this, especially considering that Imperiali and Reinforced Imperiali quotas exist (Q=V/S+2 and Q=V/S+3 respectively). JerenMapper (talk) 21:16, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
