Creating as new page

[edit]

Since Elizabeth A. Smart is a seperate article from the page on her kidnapping, it seems to make sense to have her talk page be seperate. With her getting a consultant position with an national TV news network I think there is no really question that she is notable for more than just one event. If people disagree they could of course seek to change how things are, but it seems that we should have each article with its own talk page.John Pack Lambert (talk) 06:56, 28 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, You can go to that talk page (or any page) and cut/paste from URL at the top to get:
Talk:Elizabeth_Smart_kidnapping . . . (enclosed in double-brackets, as you know).
And if you don't know, click here or any "edit" link to see the Wiki code to learn.

She remains of great public interest on several levels. [1] —— Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 13:12, 19 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Should we rename the page?

[edit]

I am wondering if now that she has married it is time to rename the page. My gut feeling is that for now the answer is no. If at some point most of the notable things she has done have been while refered to as Elizabeth Gilmour or Elizabeth Smart Gilmour and if the standard newspaper references to her become the later, than I would support rename. However for now I think the current name works.John Pack Lambert (talk) 04:00, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
