The enginator is clearly Waukesha's brand of generator, here is a little more information: http://www.erixrailcar.com/techpubs/Waukesha_Diesel_Enginator.pdf
It's clearly not defined as something that burns waste gas, however, that is how it is currently often associated. Such devices, for example, are present at many landfills.
