[edit]- Mylan had an agreement with Pfizer, struck in 2010, for Pfizer to disinvest from Adrenaclick, which competed with Mylan's product, EpiPen. Pfizer was purchasing King Pharmaceuticals, which manufactured the drug that went into EpiPen, so giving up the profits from its selling of Adrenaclick would be more than made up for by higher profits from EpiPen sales. - https://theintercept.com/2021/09/07/joe-manchin-epipen-price-heather-bresch/
