Talk:Euro Cup

I understand that many people refer to the UEFA European Championship as the "Euro Cup", but is it really correct to call them one and the same? I mean, Euro is short of European and Cup is Cup and the European was a separate, club competition, and still is the trophy awarded to the winners of the Champions League... And if this direct is accepted, then should there not be a "Euro Cup redirects here, for the club competition and trophy, access European Cup" or whatever the default Wikipedia text is, message on the Euro page? 24.226.52.128 (talk) 17:23, 15 June 2012 (UTC) (Forgot to sign, added)
