The picture seen on the front page is of Firebase Sarge, not Firebase Fuller. If you search for the images you'll see the differences, namely that Sarge was split in to two compounds whereas Fuller was all along the ridgeline and it was closer to the Rockpile. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.90.167.18 (talk) 19:48, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
I was with Co A 1st Bn 11th Inf 1st Bde of the 5th Inf Div (mech) in '69 and '70 Our company pulled security at least twice on FSB Fuller in December '69 and in early '70. I was with the 2nd platoon Co A 1-11 when it was attached to Capt. Blunt's Co (Bravo, I think) and the base came under siege as the end of the monsoon season April/May '70. I believe the above comment is correct. Fuller literally looked down on the rockpile, you could see Camp Carrol beyond the rockpile. That picture resembles Fuller, but there are striking differences, when I was on Fuller there was no lower compound as in the picture, there are other differences as well. I believe the howitzer battery was in a straight line facing northwest or north-northwest. Not absolutely sure of directions but the layout in the picture is different from Fuller. ```` — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tonygumbrell (talk • contribs) 02:31, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
