Hello! I'll be taking a look at this article for the January 2022 GAN backlog drive. If you haven't already signed up, please feel free to join in! Although QPQ is not required, if you're feeling generous, I also have a list of GA nominations of my own right here.

Lede

[edit]
  • Link "Christian hell" to Hell in Christianity
  • Link baptism
  • Inconsistent capitalization of Limbo throughout; only bringing up because I've only ever seen it capitalized

Synopsis

[edit]
  • Similar to the lede, pipe hell to Hell in Christianity and heaven to Heaven in Christianity
  • See above re: capitalization; it's all lowercase here despite being capitalized in the lede
  • Similarly, Harrowing of Hell should be capitalized here in the body

Background

[edit]
  • Swap comma for colon after "two distinct theories of limbo" and then swap a semicolon for a comma after "of the Old Testament"
  • "middle ages" → "Middle Ages" with the WL

Analysis

[edit]
  • Swap em dashes for commas around as an eternal home to the unbaptised and pagans
  • "being disconnected to" → "being disconnected from"
  • "Modern interpretation to" → "Modern interpretation of"

References

[edit]
  • Good

General comments

[edit]
  • Images are properly licensed and relevant
  • No stability concerns in the revision history
  • Earwig score looks good at 1.0%

Putting on hold to allow nominator to address comments. Please feel free to ping me with questions, and let me know when you're finished! — GhostRiver 05:39, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for taking a look at this. I believe I have addressed everything raised above, although I opted for an em dash rather than a colon just for consistency. Here are the changes made, let me know if there's anything else you feel needs to be addressed. ᵹʀᴀᴘᴘʟᴇ 14:26, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for making those changes so quickly, and for linking the diff. Everything looks good now, happy to pass! — GhostRiver 16:22, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
