Removed redirect

[edit]

I removed a redirect to the US flag protocol because I found it biased to a particular country. The title of this article does not exclude situations in different countries. Moreover, it is not necessarily limited to rules but may also include flag disposal in reality. PinkShinyRose (talk) 18:23, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, my changes have been repealed by more experienced users and the redirect should therefore probably stay as it is. I am leaving this talk entry as a warning for future reference. PinkShinyRose (talk) 18:58, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
A new thing came to mind: Should the page rather be redirected here: Flag protocol? I am not sure any more about the right course of action, so if anyone reads this: could you please state your opinion? PinkShinyRose (talk) 19:31, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I reviewed the current target article and find your suggestion to be sound. May I suggest you use the edit summary when making edits as this generally helps others to know what motivated your change and often is a critical step to ensure it is evaluated properly. You are doing well so don't be dismayed and continue asking questions until you are satisfied that you understand the answer. I am generally available as well and you are welcome to inquire on my talk page; any time! Best regards - My76Strat (talk) 21:24, 23 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
