Oops, I typo'd my edit comment. "Flash translation layer" describes the functionality provided by a Flash memory controller, not a Flash filesystem. A flash filesystem maps (e.g. NAND) flash semantics to filesystem semantics. A flash memory controller maps flash semantics to block-device semantics. Merge

I fixed the implication that Sandisk participated in human trafficking in 2006 by purchasing people named M-Systems, but this article probably should be a redirect somewhere useful. This title implies you'll learn what how and where a Flash Translation Layer is, but all you'll find is that M-Systems made a poorly-named FTL and was purchased by Sandisk in 2006. 108.46.51.183 (talk) 00:28, 5 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
