Infobox[edit]

  • Just a quick mention of the alt: is the girl animated? She looks to be; if so, please state that in addition to "A girl". Thanks
    • I don't think the girl would be "animated". Animation would mean it would have to be in motion, not just a still frame. Added "computer-generated" instead
  • Unlink "Porter Robinson under the "Producer" parameter

Lead[edit]

  • Add "recorded" after ""Flicker" is a song" please
  • Add 2014 in parentheses after Worlds please
  • Add a period ("full stop") after "with sampling of soul music" please
  • "The song musically contains elements of disco and hip-hop," --> "Musically, the song contains elements of disco and hip-hop,"
  • "Vocally, the song contains an audio file of a text-to-speech voice saying non-correctly translated Japanese "never seen" song titles that he chopped and screwed into a "rap"." --> "The song contains a text-to-speech voice incorrectly translating "never seen" Japanese song titles that have been chopped and screwed in a rap-like style."

Composition[edit]

  • Add 2014 in parentheses after Worlds please
  • Add 2001 in parentheses after Discovery please
  • The comma after "He didn't initially plan "Flicker" to be a track on Worlds until some time later" doesn't make sense to me
  • "song titles that would never been seen" --> This isn't grammatically correct
  • I think this section relies too heavily on the Worlds Commentary source
    • Problem is, all the sources where Robinson talks about the song pretty much says the same thing as he said in the commentary, and it doesn't help I couldn't only a Spin review as a reliable source describing the composition. I did add a Radio.com source saying the soul samples where influenced by Jay Dilla.

Release and promotion[edit]

  • First paragraph is really good! :)
  • The second paragraph should be put into a separate section called "Critical reception"
  • "Consequence of Sound" needs to to be italicized

Other notes[edit]

  • There needs to be a "Charts" section since it at least peaked on one chart; please also use the correct formatting
  • There needs to be a "Track listing" section, keeping track if there are any available remixes as well
    • Added a release history instead. All remix and single releases are only one track and usually officially released on Soundcloud as premieres from blogs, no need for a track listing IMO,
      • The date for the "Juventa" remix says February 23, 2015, but the sourced reference you added incorrectly says Fevruary 23, 2016 for the date, could you change that? Carbrera (talk) 04:15, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • There needs to be a "Credits"/"Credits and personnel" section displaying the people involved with the track's writing and recording process
    • I'll add a credits, but Porter Robinson is the only one credited on the track as writing and producing the song. No other credits. Section will still be added, but it's not necessary in my opinion.
      • Don't add it if he is the only one available. There's no information from an album booklet or something?Carbrera (talk) 04:14, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

End of GA Review:[edit]

This article definitely could be expanded a bit more. Please do so and take a look at the comments I have suggested above. Thank you. "On hold for seven days to allow for changes". Cheers, Carbrera (talk) 02:54, 18 June 2016 (UTC)![reply]
