Suggestion[edit]

What about moving this to "Florida State Seminoles"? Other schools seem to use this format: Michigan Wolverines, Florida Gators, Duke Blue Devils, or specific to sports Notre Dame football, Miami Hurricanes Football, etc. AriGold 17:40, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Now you tell me. :-) Well I typed it in and it went to the page I'm creating. Noles1984 22:14, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I redirected it for now. Personally I think Florida State Seminoles might make more sense as more people are probably likely to type that in then "Florida State University athletics, no? AriGold 22:57, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

National Championships[edit]

Maybe create a section to list the 4 NCAA national championships the school has won? 2 for men's gymnastics, 1 for women's indoor track & field and 1 for women's outdoor track & field. And of course, the 1993 AP/Coaches Poll football national championship and the 1999 BCS national championship. AriGold

Needs More Info[edit]

Somebody jump in and do what you can Noles1984 22:33, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Important?[edit]

"From it's humble beginnings in 1947 in the Dixie Conference, FSU has worked its way up to a national championship contender" Technically, in 1947 FSU was independent. They joined the Dixie Conf. in the 1948 season. Not sure how to reword it. AriGold 22:55, 30 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I found this information at NationalChamps.net USA Noles1984 16:43, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More Photos[edit]

We need more photos on this page. Anyone close enough to campus to get photos of sports complexes? USA Noles1984

Florida State football[edit]

Maybe it would be a good idea to make a while page on Florida State football instead of having it being part of the FSU athletics page.tdchrisdavis 18:54, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Softball[edit]

Because I'm too lazy and too clueless I'm not sure how to add a picture of the Softball field, but I did find a picture at seminoles.com if anyone wants to add it, the page has a lack of photos.
