Combating Fraggle Attacks

[edit]

Fraggle attack is classed as a denial of service attack. A combination of security mechanisms may be used to protect against this form of attack. Typical mechanisms include deploying firewalls, access-lists, authenticated access and rate limiting or other quality of service features on network infrastructure.
