[edit]- High-capacity transit (HCT) planning for the Portland metropolitan area, last evaluated in the 1982 Light Rail System Plan, was updated with the adoption of Resolution No. 09-4052, the Regional High Capacity Transit System Plan, by the Portland metropolitan area's regional government, Metro, on July 9, 2009. This sentence, as the first non-lead piece, is very laden with definitions that are important. However, it is also incredibly comma-heavy, with three separate appositives. I wonder if this could be reflowed.

The appositive—the removable part of the sentence—is "in the following month", not "and in the following month".

[edit]- The tables have captions (MOS:DTAB). Images include a TOO public domain image and various freely licensed images with good captions, but they do need alt text.

- Earwig's only complaint is the high-capacity transit definition. As an unfamiliar term, however, and one that may be defined in Portland differently than in other cities, this definition in the footnote is appropriate, and it is properly attributed.
