according to criteria three of good article criteria [1], the page should be:

  1. Broad in its coverage:
   (a) it addresses the main aspects of the topic;[3] and
   (b) it stays focused on the topic without going into unnecessary detail (see summary style).

problems- from criteria (b) If we are addressing only main aspects, the "prevention" section seems to be completely unnecessary or otherwise merits a possible second article. The section is frankly a little bland: "eat less and exercise more". Does this really need to be said? from criteria (a) It seems a main aspect of the topic would be whether or not this is truly a problem. Is weight gain necessarily a problem? what studies show students are gaining body fat rather than just finishing growing and adding more final bone mass and muscle mass? This is a major issue if people (skinny sorority girls) are being urged to simply "lose weight" rather than lose bodyfat and are skipping meals to accomplish this goal.PipingHotSoup (talk) 17:51, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
