Redirects to Functional (C++) but the word functor is never mentioned in that article[edit]

This article redirects to Functional (C++) but the word "functor" is never mentioned in that article.

Either the present article (Functor (C++)) should not redirect, as perhaps the other article is not really about functors, or the other article should mention the word "functor". I myself is not knowledgable enough about the subject to determine what is the right thing to do. But the current redirect is confusing to a reader that want to learn about what a functor is but is redirected to an article where functors are not mentioned at all. An implicit statement (through the redirect) that "functional" and "functor" is the same thing is not good enough. We should be explicit about facts so they can be discussed. --Jhertel (talk) 13:02, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
